We know that the impact increases when members participate frequently. We are committed to offering an exciting Club Experience that honors and advances the best traditions of the Club program.
Torch Club is our middle school leadership club for 6th-8th graders. Torch Club members learn to elect officers and work together to implement activities in four areas: service to Club and community, education, health and fitness and social recreation. Each year, Torch Club members from all over the country take part in a service-learning experiences through the National Torch Club Project.
Meet friends, find your voice and take control of your future. The CLUB is a safe place for teens agewhere you can drop in after school and be yourself without feeling the pressure of being judged. Teen center hours and activities vary by community but all offer a unique environment that feels like family.
Most importantly, the Club helps those who need it most! Our Club reaches out to kids who cannot afford, or may lack access to, other community programs. Our Club is open every day, after school, when kids have free time and need positive productive outlets. We currently serve over youth through various programs.
Donate Now. It affords high school teens an opportunity to gain valuable leadership and service experience. They conduct activities in four areas: academic success, career exploration, leadership skills and community service.
Complete with games, computers, couches, foosball, tables for homework and other projects, and a TV for movie nights, the Teen Lounge is the ideal after school destination. Diplomas 2 Degrees is our college and career preparation program, which gives teens the support and guidance needed for setting future education and career goals, and planning the steps to achieve those goals.
Raley Teen Center opened its doors in as a full-service branch for youth ages In due to the changing landscape of the neighborhood and the needs of the Sacramento region, we converted Raley into a full-service teen center. In the Club was selected by the Metro Chamber's Leadership Class for their community service project.
CareerLaunch prepares teens for the world of careers and work. Through CareerLaunch, Club teens years old embark on a journey to explore possible vocations, make sound educational decisions and find success in the world of work. RBI provides training to Clubs wishing to start or expand boys baseball and girls fast-pitch softball leagues for ages 13 to 15 and 16 to RBI teams representing Club leagues are eligible to participate in sports clinics.
We understand that teenagers can have a hard time fitting in. At The Club, we treat our teens like the young adults they are. We focus on getting teens ready for the real world by assisting them with scholarship, leadership and community outreach opportunities, while providing them with a safe, caring environment blended with friends and fun!
Girls are welcome to enroll at any time, but official Fall registration for the after school program takes place in August. Summer Camp registration takes place in May. They create fashions to model at the annual Spring Tea and Fashion Show, learn about nutrition and healthy choices, and find creative ways to earn money to support their many projects. There are weekly theme days, field trips, fundraisers and so much more.
